About Threes!!

Threes! is a clever little puzzle game created by Sirvo, where your mission is to combine numbered tiles on a 4x4 grid to create the largest values possible. Let’s step into the challenges, go for smart number merges, and have the biggest numbers possible without filling up the board too quickly.

Threes! Gameplay: Core Rules and Objectives

As soon as you make a move, tiles immediately slide in the up, down, left, or right direction (all together). A new tile spawns as well, featuring the 1, 2, or 3 number. Unlike the classic 2048 merging game, Three!’s combining system works uniquely.

  • First, bear in mind this special starting rule: 1 + 2 = 3
  • From "3" and above, matching numbers combine for greater values (like 3 + 3 = 6, 6 + 6 = 12, 12 + 12 = 24, etc.)

The game can end at any moment when no more moves are possible. Your score is counted based on how great values you can build, with each numbered title worth a certain number of points. Of course, higher-value tiles always yield huge points.

How to Play Threes!

Goals and challenges

Playing this puzzle is simple, but the core challenges lie in how to plan your moves perfectly to create bigger and bigger values without

running out of possible moves too quickly. Aim for the highest score possible while trying to keep the board from flying completely—that’s your core goal!

Playing guides in details

Make strategic moves. Swipe any direction, up, down, left, or right, to move all tiles to create the number “3” and higher values. Remember, small tiles labeled 1 and 2 can clutter the board if not merged quickly, so be careful with them.

Plan carefully and aim for chain reactions. Random moves often result in a game over quickly. Thus, be sure to stick with well-planned moves (accounting for the new tile’s spawn). Ideally, set up and prioritize moves that allow multiple merges in one slide.

Keep merging until the game ends. Keep combining tiles until you can’t swipe anymore; the game finishes when the board is full, and no merges remain.

Game controls:

  • Use the arrow keys or mouse to swipe the tiles.
